On the way to the office today the idle was fine compared to last night when it was high. I have the test results that I checked on my lunch today. So the car sat for about 5 hours. IAT temp: 97F. ECT temp: 100F. Throttle percentage was at 10.2%. Ticking shouldn't really occur but as long as it doesn't start knocking or thudding you shouldn't have to worry about something serious like a rod. These are a "hall effect switch", thus they need to be powered up and then you check for output voltage from the switch. The voltage should come/go based on whether or not a belt is buckled in.
